This project was to implement the things learned in the course process in which we designed plate which mimic the behavior of a wind turbine blade made up carbon-fiber and epoxy. To have a pre-twist due created due to thermal loading during the curing process. The code was developed, executed in MATLAB and later it was designed by compression molding press.
The objective of the project is to design a towable AGV cart to the company by using all the principles of computer Integrated Manufacturing system. Designed by using CATIA - based on their requirements, suggested material handling system on the cart. The designed product is tested in ANSYS Workbench for efficient design.Materials were chosen using CES Edupack.
My undergraduate project the interest i had i aerodynamics led me to choose this topic in which Proposed an alternative technique to analyze the flapping motion using High-speed DSLR camera and stroboscope. The model was developed in CATIA and motion is simulated in DMU Kinematics. The deformation shape was traced in CATIA and imported to the ANSYS Fluent to find aerodynamic parameters. The results were validated by using 6 component strain gauge instrument.
Being always a fascinated student me with two others students started a team SRM UAV a research team of SRM University. The team comprised undergraduate students with the primary objective to develop autonomous fixed wing, multi-rotor, hybrid UAVs, and blimps. My position required an active involvement in the design and fabrication.
